Hi and welcome to my homepage! My name is Teri Hendrickson. This is my 9th year teaching and my 9th year at Spearville. I graduated from Hanston High School in 1995 and Fort Hays State University in 1999—GO TIGERS!! I live in Spearville with my husband, John, our daughter Jenna, and our dog, Mocha Jo. I've been a Chiefs fan for as long as I can remember and love going to games at Arrowhead! When I’m not chasing a certain toddler around, I enjoy scrapbooking, shopping, being with family and friends, watching college football, golf, and Grey’s Anatomy. I may never compete on the course with Annika, but I frequently shoot in the 50's--on nine holes! Oh, yeah, and did I mention I love Premier Designs jewelry!? (and sell it, too!)
I've had the privilege to teach at the Kindergarten level each year and hope to continue working with this age group! They learn so many things in the first year of school, and I am always excited and amazed at their progress. In addition to academic work, we learn many life skills, such as respect for others, sharing, working together, following rules and directions and solving our own conflicts. Remember what they say...everything you need to know, you can learn in Kindergarten!
