This is my fourth year teaching after retiring from private industry. I have been a freelance motorsports photographer since 1994. My adrenaline addiction has taken me from dirt track motorcycle racing (Mr. E dominated AMA District #27 in the 80’s) through several years of NASCAR and USAC racing. When Fred Brownfield started the Northern Sprint Tour in the early 90’s I signed up as tour photographer. With the NoST I covered races in WA, OR, ID and northern CA. I got “the call” to travel with Brownfield and the National Sprint Tour when eleven drivers split from the World of Outlaws. I went.
As a business education teacher I get to pass on the accounting experience I gathered over a professional career of 27 years. I enjoy being able to relate the textbook information to real world applications. The students get a lot of learning with a little rock-and-roll.
