"Rumor has it that the JH league basketball tournament starts on the 17th. I haven't seen any information regarding that tournament - so true or false?"
Haviland Junior High will sponsor the SPIAA Junior High Basketball Tournament on January 17th, 19th, and 22nd.
Spearville Girls will play January 17th at 3:00 vs. Minneola.
Spearville Boys will play January 17th at 4:15 against Jetmore.
Ticket prices are $3 for adults and $2 for students.
Will baseball be eliminated as a Varsity
Sport?
No, that has not been discussed nor considered as of this time.
There are issues involving Title IX Equal Opportunities in
Education for the Board of Education to consider as well as budget
issues in all extra-curricular programs.
Reminder, we have had questions regarding personnel and
