SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 23, 2009
7:00 P.M.
The Special Meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by President Charles Konrade.
Board members present were Charles Konrade, Tena Gleason, Kimberly Slattery, Myron Ricke, Earl Shafer and Beverly Temaat. Also present were Clerk Judy Konrade and two patrons.
Beverly Temaat moved to approve the waiver of notification of a Special Meeting. Tena Gleason seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Earl Shafer moved to approve the June final expenditures. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Tena Gleason moved to approve the June 8, 2009 regular meeting minutes at 7:00 p.m., June 8, 2009 Special Meeting minutes at 10:05 p.m. and the June 23, 2009 Special Meeting minutes upon publication. Earl Shafer seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Earl Shafer moved to dissolve committees no longer active. Tena Gleason seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Earl Shafer moved to approve end of year transfers. Charles Konrade seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Executive Session – Personnel
Charles Konrade moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters for non-elected personnel and that the board return to open meeting at 7:40 p.m. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interest of an identifiable individual. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. 7:20 p.m.
Board and Jerry King only in executive session.
J. Wynn Fleener attended the executive session at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Fleener left the executive session at 7:38 p.m.
Reconvened 7:40 p.m.
Charles Konrade moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters for non-elected personnel and that the board return to open meeting at 8:05 p.m. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interest of an identifiable individual. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. 7:45 p.m.
Board and Jerry King only in executive session.
Reconvened 8:05 p.m.
Charles Konrade moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters for non-elected personnel and that the board return to open meeting at 8:12 p.m. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interest of an identifiable individual. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. 8:07 p.m.

Reconvened 8:12 p.m.
Charles Konrade moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters for non-elected personnel and that the board return to open meeting at 8:19 p.m. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interest of an identifiable individual. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. 8:14 p.m.

Charles Konrade moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters for non-elected personnel and that the board return to open meeting at 8:25 p.m. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interest of an identifiable individual. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. 8:20 p.m.

Reconvened 8:25 p.m.
Charles Konrade moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters for non-elected personnel and that the board return to open meeting at 8:40 p.m. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interest of an identifiable individual. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. 8:30 p.m.
Board and Jerry King only in executive session.
Clerk Konrade was asked to join the executive session at 8:35 p.m.
Reconvened 8:40 p.m.
Charles Konrade moved to approve Joshua Sigmund as Head Middle School Football Coach. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Board members Charles Konrade, Beverly Temaat and Tena Gleason were thanked for their years of service on the Board of Education and time given to the district.
Charles Konrade adjourned the meeting at 8:45 p.m. Kimberly Slattery seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
