The Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas Scholarship Application for 2010-2011 is now available. You may pick up an application in the library, in Mrs. Lorie Stein’s office, or print one from the website: www.communityfoundationswks.com .
College Goal Sunday is about two weeks away, on February 21st from 2 pm – 4 pm at the new Academic Success Center in the Science and Math building on the DCCC campus. High school seniors and their parents will receive FREE, personalized help in filling out the FAFSA form and learning about financial aid options. There will be FOUR $500 scholarship drawings at the end of the event at the 20 locations across the state. Parents can either bring their 2009 income tax return or estimate their 2009 earnings and revise it later. For more information, log on to the website, www.CollegeGoal.org.
