Hello Everyone,

Here are a few lines about my background and training. I grew up in Laverne, OK and graduated in 1994. I attended college at NWOUS in Alva and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education and endorsement in Early Childhood Education. After receiving my first teaching job in Kinsley, I began to work on and complete my graduate ESL Endorsement through K-State. I am in the process of trying to decide in what area of specialty I would like to complete my Master’s Degree in.

I am now beginning my tenth year of teaching. I have taught all grade levels from all day Kindergarten to 6^th grade. I am in my second year at Spearville Elementary and loving it! I welcome anyone who would love to stop in and visit the fourth graders. We are always discovering new things and figuring out how in the world all these concepts will be of value later in life.

My husband, Scott, is a salesman for Superior Home Improvements in Dodge City. We fall under the saying with children, “His, Mine, and Ours.” He has the older son, Travis, I have the middle boy, Wyatt, and together we have the youngest, Blake. We enjoy doing boy things as you probably guessed. We love to travel and usually take several trips throughout each year.
