Biography

I grew up in rural Shawnee County near Topeka on a small-scale poultry farm. After graduating from Washburn Rural High School in 2004, I went to Emporia State University and graduated in 2008 with a BSE in Biology Education and a BSE in Chemistry Education. I taught for one year in Garden City at the New Outlook Academy Alternative Center, and then moved to Spearville. After that year, I gained further teaching licenses in physics and earth/space science. Currently, I teach 7^th grade science, 8^th grade science, earth and space science, chemistry, and physics.
