I have been educator at Spearville for 29 years. I have taught business education at the high school level and physical education at all grade levels during my tenure. For the past 14 years I have been the elementary principal.
My wife, Terry, is a teacher at Spearville Elementary. Our three children, Camilla, Daniel, and Leanne all graduated from Spearville High School. Camilla and Leanne are school teachers and Daniel is a youth pastor. Terry and I are proud "new" grandparents. Piper Lynn Grace Hartzler was born to Daniel and Erica Hartzler on May 2, 2005.
My hobbies include fishing, golfing and hunting. I also enjoy movies, Nebraska football (go big red) and Kansas Jayhawk basketball (rock-chalk- jayhawk-KU).
