Week 11
Did you know at Spearville MS/HS about 95% of our students are involved in at least one extra curricular activity? A few benefits of being involved in these activities include building leadership skills, increased academic achievement, and improved confidence!
Week 10
Did you know Spearville schools have begun their yearly State Assessments? These assessment results are reported to the state and used to see how our district is performing and areas that our state needs to focus on. Assessments are based on the Kansas Standards for ELA, Math and Science.
Week 9
Did you know beginning with the Class of 2028 (our current 8th graders) there are new graduation requirements from the Kansas Department of Education? Below is a link to the Fact Sheet with more information.

Did you know our seniors are awarded a Tom Feist Foundation Scholarship based on the number of years they have attended Spearville Schools? Learn more about Mr. Feist and his incredible work here.

Did you know? We currently have 9 staff members who are going through LETRS Training? This professional development is powerful in helping apply the Science of Reading Research into our curriculum. Read more about LETRS by clicking on the link!
